Number of Gears Two Input Shaft Diameter 1.125 in. Input Spline Quantity 10 Bellhousing Included No Yoke Style Bolt-on Yoke Included Yes Shifter Included No Second Gear Ratio 1.00:1 Case Material Aluminum Notes This is an internal roller ball slide. Driveshaft will not have a yoke, U-joints on both ends. Slider has 5.500 in. of travel. Telescopes 5-1/2' at the rear yoke allowing your drive line and suspension the freedom to move forward and rearward without inducing or limiting roll steer. The roller slide has all the advantages of more drive line travel and less maintenance, while being durable enough to handle the tough environment of today's racing. As with all falcon transmissions, the roller slide provides two speeds forward, reverse and an integral hydraulic applied clutch which operates low and reverse. High gear is a direct drive 1 to 1 ratio. Well lubricated, frictionless bearings support all rotating components, especially the rear sliding shaft assembly, for superior durability. Three Piece Input with Coupler Eliminates Any Stress on the Crankshaft due to Bellhousing Misalignment.
The Falcon Late Model Transmission has two forward speeds and reverse. An integral hydraulically applied clutch is operational in both low and reverse gear while high gear is direct drive. The Falcon offers the lowest rotating mass of any transmission. A floating input shaft contributes to positive high gear retention and frictionless bearings support all rotating components with surprising durability. Aluminum Late Model Transmission. 2 forward gears & 1 reverse gear. Weight: 43 lbs. The Ford Falcon (FG) is a full-sized car that was produced by Ford Australia from 2008 to 2014. It was the first iteration of the seventh and last generation of this Australian-made model. Its range no longer featured the Fairmont luxury badge, replaced instead by the G Series. The Falcon Shorty Transmission is more compact and considerably lighter than any other transmission of its kind. This transmission features two forward speeds, neutral and reverse with an integral hydraulic applied clutch which operates low & reverse gears. High gear is a 1 to 1 direct drive ratio, while low gear is a 2.4 to 1 ratio.
